
Advancing his conquest of Shinano, Takeda Harunobu campaigned into Ina District and attacked Fukuyo Castle, held by the Fujisawa clan. With reinforcements arriving from Takatō Yoritsugu, he was unable to take the castle and withdrew his troops to Suwa, but he kept up pressure across Shinano, laying the groundwork for his conquest of Takatō the following year.
Month 4
Following the conquest of Suwa in 1542, Takeda Harunobu rebuilt and reorganized the lost 上原城下 between 1543-1544, establishing it as a governance center under Itagaki Nobukata.
