1547: The Enactment of the Kōshū Hattō Code and the Fall of Shiga Castle

Takeda Harunobu enacted the Kōshū Hattō, a domain law code that established the legal foundation for controlling his retainers and governing his territory. That same year, he campaigned into Saku District in Shinano and captured Shiga Castle, advancing the pacification of the region—a year in which the Takeda strengthened their base of power on both the administrative and military fronts.
