Under pressure from Takeda Harunobu's invasion, Shinano shugo Ogasawara Nagatoki abandoned his base. That year Harunobu attacked Toishi Castle, held by Murakami Yoshikiyo's side, but failed to capture it and withdrew after suffering heavy losses.
