
Under pressure from the Hōjō, Kantō Kanrei Uesugi Norimasa abandoned his base at Hirai Castle and later sought refuge with Nagao Kagetora in Echigo. This marked a major advance in Hōjō expansion toward Kōzuke.

Peace was established between Yoshiteru and Miyoshi Nagayoshi, and Yoshiteru returned to the capital. Nagayoshi became 御供衆 (shogun's attendant) of the shogunate, gaining a position as a direct retainer of the shogun exceeding that of a mere guardian's deputy.

After the assassination of Yusa Naganori, Kayafuri Kentsugu of Takaya Castle and Yasumi Munefusa of Iimori Castle became rivals in Kawachi. Munefusa assassinated Kentsugu and rose to prominence in Kawachi.
